The Whistlestop cafe

Visited here while waiting for my car was on MOT centre, wanted to get relief from the cold windy weather, but get impressed by this cafe. Not a big cafe, but it’s worthy to have a breakfast tea on this neat and clean environment. The staff were also polite and friendly.

This is my friday morning haunt at the end of the week. And I really look forward to it.The staff are lovely.The food is lovely.Its really nice they will come and ask you how your food is.It is really welcoming. Always big

5* food with 5* reception always feel welcome when I visit the café, I couldn't recommend a better place to go get pancakes in East Sussex

Great breakfast and good tea!Me and 2 friends stopped there and had the full English.It was cooked fresh a tasted great.Don’t park in the railway carpark there’s a free 3 hour car park 50 yards away beside the builders merchant.Just added a second picture taken 18th july 24 one year later and it was just as great as the last one.Thanks guys!

Went to this lovely little place a few days ago with my dad in hopes of having a nice, tasty brunch. That’s exactly what we got! The food was delicious, the staff were extremely friendly and kind, it was a clean, organized place with reasonable prices, and overall a good time. We also got some shawarma wraps for take away for our dinner that night, the chicken was soft and cooked well with the perfect amount seasoning and veggies inside. Very nice and homey/comfortable little place too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good brunch/food place in general.P.S. photo attached was our table after we’d eaten, the tables aren’t dirty.

Had the Special with gluten free toast and a coffee with oat milk. Brilliant service with freshly cooked delicious food! Recommended!
